½ Cup methi leaves

1 Fresh amla

Method:

Step 1: Add half a cup of fresh curry leaves, the pulp of one amla, and a half cup of methi leaves to your mixer grinder.

Step 2: Grind the ingredients to get a paste-like consistency.

Step 3: Add water as per requirement. 

Step 4: Apply the hair growth-boosting paste to your scalp. 

Step 5: Rinse the paste from hair after 30 minutes with room temperature water.

To Prevent Hair Thinning

You’ll Need:

Gooseberry/Amla

Curry leaves

Method: 

Step 1: Cut the Amla into small pieces and blend it.

Step 2: Add a few curry leaves and water. Blend it well to make a paste.

Step 3: Apply this paste all over your scalp. Leave it on for a couple of hours. Wash off with a mild shampoo. Use this DIY twice a week for the best results.

To Strengthen The Hair

You’ll Need:

Coconut Oil

10 - 12 Curry leaves

Method: 

Step 1: Take coconut oil in a small pan.

Step 2: Warm up the oil on a gas stove or microwave. Add 10 - 12 curry leaves to the warm oil. You will hear the crackling sound of curry leaves. 

Step 3: Let the oil boil until the edges of curry leaves turn black. Allow the oil with curry leaves to become lukewarm. Apply the oil to your scalp and hair with your fingertips. 

Step 4: Leave it overnight and shampoo in the morning with normal water. You can apply this twice a 2 weeks for best results. 

To Add Shine

You’ll Need:

½ Cup fresh curry leaves

Hibiscus petals

Method: 

Step 1: Grind half a cup of fresh curry leaves and hibiscus petals to a paste-like consistency.

Step 2: Apply the paste to your scalp and hair and leave it for 30 mins.

Step 3: Wash off the paste with normal water.

To Combat Dandruff

You’ll Need:

15 - 20 Fresh curry leaves

2 - 3 tbsps of yogurt

Method: 

Step 1: Take 15 - 20 curry leaves and wash them with water.

Step 2: Add the curry leaves to a blender. Grind to make a paste. 

Step 3: Apply the paste to your hair and scalp with your fingertips. Keep it on for half an hour before washing it off. 

To Control Frizz

You’ll Need: 

Water

Curry leaves

Method: 

Step 1: Boil about 15 - 20 fresh curry leaves in two cups of water. Boil until the water reduces to half. 

Step 2: Turn off the flame and wait for the water to cool down. Strain the water and use it to rinse your hair after you are done shampooing. Curry leaves-infused water will help keep frizz and flyaways at bay while boosting shine.
