A fluctuation in these levels can send your oil-producing glands into overdrive and trigger flare-ups and pimples on your skin. It does this while cleansing and exfoliating your skin of dirt and build-up and unclogging your pores. The cleaner your pores, the less visible they are.
It even excels at inducing a glow on your face. This is because it’s rich in antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids that lighten scars and pigmentation and reveal clearer, healthy-looking skin over time.
Flaxseed’s anti-inflammatory properties even enable it soothe inflammation and redness quickly.
Flaxseed can stimulate the production of collagen and promote the turnover of cells thanks to its composition of anti-ageing components and antioxidants. This makes your face look firm, tight, and youthful and diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
